Meet The Team
Dr. Lafasakis has been a fan of Drum & Bass since 1992 when his friend (who is now a dentist) introduced him to a tune with a liquid vibe. Michael grew up going to Drum & Bass shows and concerts throughout the 90s and 2000s. Michael threw his first party in 2011 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and his 2nd and 3rd parties at the Williamsburg Music Hall (UNITED BATTLE DRUM & BASS USA VS UK 1 & 2). Dr. Lafasakis was the first to bring Technimatic to America.
Mr. Meskouris was first introduced to Drum & Bass in 2013 when he met Dr. Lafasakis and has been hooked ever since. In fact Drum & Bass has become one of his favorite music genres. Music has always been a major part of George;s life as he has been playing the drums since he was 5 years old. His passion for music and drums made Drum & Bass the perfect fit. George received his Bachelor's degree in Economics and has more than 8 years of experience in operations management. As the operations director for LDNB, George is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring best practice experiences, to ensure that the mission of LDNB is constantly achieved.
Stephen is an Office Manager for LDNB, and supports the daily operations as well as events the organization plans. Graduating from Baruch College in 2018 with a BBA in Entrepreneurship, Stephen has valuable knowledge of all different aspects of a business. Mr. Spartinos helps to recruit talent for shows and albums, as well as organize and plan benefit events for the organizations mission. Mr. Spartinos hoped that through the power of music, great goals can be accomplished.
Taylor Bou was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Freeport, Long Island. He is a Graphic and Product Designer. He received his Associate Degree in Arts & Science from Nassau Community College in 2016. He focused on his skills in typography, branding, marketing and illustration. For the past ten years and continued to grow. Taylor also joined an internship for the branding and marketing department of ZDI, has also developed logos, email blasts and posters for production companies. He is also resourceful and passionate and driven to learn. He has illustrated a children’s book for authors as well. In April 2019, Taylor joined the team at Kidz Choice Services where he assists in creating clinical documents and learning materials for our autistic students. In his free time, Mr. Bou loves to watch films, listen to music and work out at the gym, as well as spend time with his family and friends.
