Makoto is back again with another simply astonishing remix. Taking a totally different genre, Makoto showcases his legendary skill in collaboration with PRSNA, an indie rock band from Long Island, New York.

PRSNA (Formerly known as Persona) define the triumph & tragedies of life through melodic vocals, infectious guitars & a blood rushing rhythm that dresses modern pop punk with their indie rock roots so handsomely, yet so rebellious in the same attire. 

Since 2011, PRSNA has released 2 EPs. 10 Singles accompanied by music videos & have shared the stage with acts such as Third Eye Blind, Twenty-One Pilots & Envy on the Coast. In 2014, after years of consistent touring & the release of their sophomore EP "Mayday, We Crashed". the band decided it be best to go on hiatus. During their hiatus, Tom Spartinos (Vocals & Guitar) & Costas Themistocleous (Guitar) would continue writing & demoing new music. In 2017, PRSNA re-emerged debuting their first single in 3 years entitled "Say What You Say". Not long after this release, drummer CJ Kostaras (ex Giants at Large) had joined the group followed by former bassist Will Suraci leaving due to personal reasons. PRSNAs' original drummer, Sam Trestman would establish his roll as the bassist from this point forward.

Having first come to prominence in 1999 when he was signed to LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking label, Makoto has steadily, consistently carved out his own groove in the world of Drum and Bass, with his trademark expansive jazz and soul-inflected workouts garnering critical praise from all corners. Having worked with a veritable who’s who of the scene, with releases on Zinc’s Bingo Beats, Fabio’s Creative Source and numerous collaborations with DJ Marky for his Innerground and A-Sides for their collaboration album entitled “Aquarian Dreams” on the joint label Eastern Elements.
 
Together with these releases, the full-length album for his own print Human Elements titled ‘Souled Out’ featured many talented vocalists and session musicians, and is a culmination of the breadth of experience and talent Makoto brings to each track which credits his name.
 
2017 sees the next chapter for Makoto, signing exclusive to Hospital Records and released his fifth solo album ‘Salvation’. 2 years later, 2019, his sixth studio album, ‘Tomodachi Sessions’, he presents 15-tracks of exquisite, sun-drenched drum & bass soul. Each and every track is a collaboration with a close friend, that has played a part in his twenty-year career, with the likes of DJ Marky, S.P.Y, Bop, MC Conrad, Pola & Bryson, Degs, Karina Ramage and more.
